Explanation of Flow

Access I-B is the procurement procedure for products from among power equipment products used by TEPCO other than Type-designated products.

Power Facilities-Related Turbine systems, Instrumentation and control equipment, Water screens(trash removing equipment), Water treatment facilities, Flu gas desulfurization and denigration facilities, etc.
Power Transmission Facilities-Related Transformers for power transmission, Gas insulated switchgears, Protective relays,etc.
Telecommunications-Related Parabolic antennas, Portable transceivers, Optical cable, etc.
Line and Cable-Related Pipe-type oil-filled cable, 275kV oil-filled cable, etc.

Disclosure of TEPCO Specifications

  • When the product your company desires to supply falls under Access I-B, TEPCO will inform your company to that effect and on the condition of concluding a nondisclosure agreement, will disclose TEPCO's specifications related to that product if there are any specifications that are applicable. There will be cases we cannot disclose our specifications considering the unique circumstances.

Submission of Registration Application Form and Submission of Materials for Document Inspection

  • If your company wishes to be registered as an eligible supplier for a particular product, please fill in the necessary information in the Registration Application Form and submit the form along with the necessary materials for document inspection to the Materials & Procurement Department at TEPCO's Head Office.
  • TEPCO will not use the contents of the documentation submitted for any purpose other than inspection, selecting prospective suppliers, and conducting business with your company.

Documents and materials to be submitted (example):

  1. Registration Application Form
  2. Documents related to the product your company wishes to register (supply), such as information on technical capability, production system, quality control, record of past delivery, after-sale service.
  3. Documents related to the overall operating condition of your company.

Document Inspection

  • Based on the documentation and materials submitted, TEPCO will conduct a comprehensive inspection of your company and your company's product from the standpoints of technical capability, production system, quality control, record of past delivery, after-sale service, company size, and company financial condition.
  • During the course of the investigation, your company may be asked to submit additional materials, or to provide further explanation or clarification.

Supplier Registration

  • After your company and your company's product has passed inspection, it will be registered as a supplier of that product. At that time, TEPCO will notify your company of the results of the inspection in writing.
