The stage 1 of Group 4 of Futtsu Thermal Power Plant shutdowned on February 6 was resumed the operation from today (February 22) after repair work
The stage 1 of the Group 4 of Futtsu Thermal Power Plant (rated capacity: 507MW) of TEPCO stopped the power generation on February 6, since there proved to be the possibility of damage on the current plate installed at the entrance of the exhaust heat recovery boiler. After the repair work, Futtsu the stage 1 was resumed the operation from today (February 22).
Max supply capacity announced at TEPCO Electricity Forecast includes this output from Futtsu.

[TEPCO electricity forecast - winter] Cold weather and maximum electricity demand forecast
From yesterday (January 20), we have been experiencing cold weather. Because of this, today's maximum electricity demand forecast is high.

Electricity is generated according to the demand
The rate of use of the Electricity Forecast is calculated by dividing the total electricity demand of each hour by maximum supply capacity of the day.
Maximum supply capacity is the maximum generation output available during the day and it is not the electricity generated.
As electricity is generated according to the demand, it cannot be stored.
