(Notes)

  1. New energy, etc. consist of wind, photovoltaic, waste, geothermal and biomas power generation (facilities with expected supply capacity and TEPCO's approved facilities).
  2. Numazu refers to a part of TEPCO's service area on the east of the Fuji River in Shizuoka Prefecture. The data for TEPCO's two branch offices in Tokyo are based on the total of the Tokyo and Tama branch offices.
  3. Figures in parentheses represent the ratio (%) to the total for the entire nation (total for 10 electic power companies.)
  4. The figure for Area and Population is as of October 1, 2015.
  5. Peak demands by each branch are those at receiving end.
Totals in the table may not agree with the sums of peak demand by each branch office because of being TEPCO's peak demand (generation end).
  6. The number of customers of 10 electric power companies excludes those in the specific-scale demand and is based on electric service contracts.
  7. Total in the table may not agree with the sums of each column because of being rounded off.
  8. Following the notification of decomissioning submitted in accordance with Article 9 of the Electric Utilities Industry Law, Units 1-6 (4.696 GW) of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station were granted to be decommissioned before January 31, 2014.
