Steps to Be Taken Going Forward to Address the Series of Incidents Related to Nuclear Material Protection

TEPCO would like to sincerely apologize for the grave concern that it has caused amongst regional residents, and society as a whole, as a result of the incidents that occurred at TEPCO nuclear power stations, such as the unauthorized use of an ID card and the partial loss to function of nuclear material protection equipment at the TEPCO Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station, and the handling of a malfunctioning seismometer and delays in conveying information that occurred at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station during the earthquake that occurred off the coast of Fukushima Prefecture.

The attached document is a summary of the steps that we will take in order to address this series of incidents.
