Report on the Impact of the Tohoku-Chihou Taiheiyo-Oki Earthquake on the Nuclear Reactor Facilities at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station to the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency (NISA) of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (Follow-up Report 2)

We have been making our utmost efforts in stabilizing Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station after the accident occurred due to the Tohoku-Chihou Taiheiyo-Oki Earthquake on March 11, 2011 while thoroughly investigating the accident.

The facts revealed regarding the status of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station affected by the Tohoku-Chihou Taiheiyo-Oki Earthquake and the Tsunami that followed the earthquake were summarized and reported to NISA*. (Previously announced on September 9 and 28, 2011 and May 9, 2012)

A follow-up report including the evaluation results of radioactive materials released into the air and the sea due to the accident (which was ongoing at the time of the previous report) (previously announced on May 24, 2012), radioactive material leakage into the sea (previously announced on April 13 and July 30, 2012) and radiation exposure doses of the radiation workers reported to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare every month has been submitted to NISA today.

We will continuously report newly revealed facts and information while maintaining cold shut down condition at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station and ensuring plant stability.
