Reliability Evaluation of the Thermometers Used in the Reactor and the Primary Containment Vessel at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station Unit 1-3 (Submitted in June, 2012)

On February 24, 2012, we received an instruction document^* titled "Correspondence for temperature increase in the lower part of the Reactor Pressure Vessel of Unit 2 at TEPCO Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station" from Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency (NISA) of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. (As mentioned in the press release issued on February 25, 2012.)

In accordance with the instruction above, we have evaluated the reliability of each thermometer currently in use and reported the results to NISA.
