Status of Request for Comments on the Specification of Smart Meters

Tokyo Electric Power Company and Nuclear Damage Liability Facilitation Fund invited comments for the specification concerning metering part (March 13 - April 13) and communication part and others (March 21 - April 20) of smart meters to be installed by Tokyo Electric Power Company.
As a result, we would like to inform you that we received the total of 482 comments from the total of 88 companies, groups, and individuals.
The request for comments is intended to revise smart meter specifications when necessary based on zero-base review of them. Whether or not we adopt a received comment will be decided by Tokyo Electric Power Company based on discussion with Nuclear Damage Liability Facilitation Fund.
