TEPCO Concludes Communication Protocol Agreement with Nagano Prefecture
 Following on the heels of discussions TEPCO has held with Nagano 
Prefecture concerning communication response measures to ensure safety at 
Kashiwazaki Kariwa Nuclear Power Station, effective as of February 15th, 
2012, TEPCO has entered into a "Safety Contact Protocol Agreement for 
Kashiwazaki Kariwa Nuclear Power Station, TEPCO" (Attachment), with Nagano 
Prefecture. 
 
Hereafter, in the event of equipment failures or accidents, and other 
events necessitating the immediate release of urgent information, we will 
promptly issue reports to Nagano Prefecture in accordance with the terms 
and conditions of this Agreement. 
 
Furthermore, we will continue to issue timely, precise and easy to 
understand updates to the local residents while endeavoring to ensure that 
Kashiwazaki Kariwa Nuclear Power Station is safe and disaster-resistant.
