Tokyo Electric Power Company, Incorporated (hereafter TEPCO), Nanmei Kousan 
Co., Ltd (hereafter Nanmei Kousan), TEPCO-Yu Company Ltd (hereafter 
TEPCO-Yu) and TEPSTAR Co., have agreed to restructure their fuel-related 
businesses by changing Nanmeikosan into an acquiring company named "Fuel 
TEPCO Limited" (hereafter Fuel TEPCO).  Furthermore, with regards to 
businesses centered on leasing activities outside of fuel-related businesses, 
these four companies have also agreed to restructure TEPCO-YU into "TEPCO 
Lease Corporation" (hereafter TEPCO Lease) (previously announced on February 
24, 2011). Hence, today marks the inauguration of these two companies. 

From this point on, Fuel TEPCO will be responsible for supplying thermal-
power fuel in a flexible and efficient manner and via state-of-the-art 
disaster prevention activities secure the safety and peace of the power 
station as well as ensure safe power supply.

In turn, TEPCO Lease will provide emergency vehicles such as power supply 
cars and fire trucks necessary to the restoration of power facilities and 
stable power supply. Emergency equipment etcetera to prevent accidents and 
conserve energy will also be provided.

In accordance with the "Present Policy for Business Efficiency Improvements 
and Streaming" released on May 20, 2011, TEPCO's group businesses will be 
reviewed with a strict eye towards the implementation of drastic 
streamlining measures focused on only those entities deemed essential to 
the power supply business.
