Status of the Inspection and Restoration Works Performed after the Niigata-Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake (as of March 3)
We are announcing the status of major inspections and restoration works 
and nonconformances at TEPCO's Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station 
after the Niigata-Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake. 

Inspection/ Restoration Status 

 ◇ Inspection and restoration completed between February 25 to March 
    3, 2011 
    (Completed on the following date) 

   - No notable activity during this week. 

 ◇ Inspection and restoration to be commenced between March 4 to March 
    10, 2011
    (To be commenced on the following date) 

   - Unit 3 Primary containment vessel closure: 
       March 3* 

   - Unit 3 System functional test (Selected control rod insertion 
     inspection): 
       March 10
