We are announcing the status of major inspections and restoration works 
and non conformances at TEPCO's Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station 
after the Niigata-Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake. 

Inspection/ Restoration Status 

 ◇ Inspection and restoration completed between December 10 to December 
    16, 2010 
    (Completed on the following date) 

   - Unit 5 Functional test for the entire plant (Functional test of 
     off-gas treatment system): 
       December 11 

   - Unit 5 Functional test for the entire plant (Performance test for 
     steam turbine (#1)): 
       December 14 

 ◇ Inspection and restoration to be commenced between December 17 to 
    December 22, 2010 
    (To be commenced on the following date) 

   - Unit 3 System functional test (Partial performance test for steam 
     turbine (#2)): 
       December 18 

 ◇ Work Schedule of Major Inspection and Restoration from December 12, 
    2010 to January 8, 2011
