due to performance and related factors as outlined below.

The Reason for the Revision

The Tokyo Electric Power Co., Inc. revises its consolidated and non-consolidated 
Fiscal 2010 First-half and Year-end financial forecasts since a significant decrease 
in fuel expenses is expected due to a drop in crude oil prices and an increase in 
nuclear power generated. Please see appendix for the details of the revision.
