We are announcing the status of major inspections and restoration works and nonconformances 
at TEPCO's Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station after the Niigata-Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake.  

Inspection/Restoration Status

 ◇ Inspection and restoration completed between September 18 to September 25, 2009  
    (Completed on the following date) 

   - Unit No.5 Seismic reinforcement works (Seismic reinforcement works for the fuel 
     handling machine):
       September 24 
   - Unit No.6 Functional test for the entire plant (Functional test for reactor core 
     isolation cooling system (RCIC)):
       September 18 
   - Unit No.6 Functional test for the entire plant (Performance test for steam turbine (#1)):
       September 18 

 ◇ Inspection and restoration to be commenced between September 26 to October 1, 2009  
    (To be commenced on the following date)  

   - Unit No.1 500kV power cable inspection (Voltage application test):
