nonconformances at TEPCO's Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station after 
the Niigata-Chuetsu-Oki Earthquake. 

Inspection/Restoration Status

 ○ Inspection and restoration completed between September 26th to October 2nd, 2008 
    (Completed on the following date) 

   • Unit No.1 500kV power cable inspection (Removal of cables): 
      September 19th * 
   • Unit No.3 Inspection of new fuel storage warehouse and new fuels in the warehouse 
     (Inspection of new fuels): 
      September 26th 
   • Unit No.7 Main transformer inspection (Installation work): 
      September 27th 
   • Unit No.7 Seismic reinforcement works (Seismic reinforcement works for the roof 
     truss of the reactor building): 
      September 30th 
   • On-site check, inspection and restoration of the oil protection bank for the transformer 
     (Unit No.6 Restoration work): 
      September 30th 
   • Inspection of spent fuel transportation cask storage facility (Inspection for 
     substructure of piles): 
      September 26th 

 ○ Inspection and restoration to be commenced between October 3rd to October 9th, 2008
