Requirements from the New Regulatory Requirements: ●Surveys should be conducted to confirm there are no fault activities under important nuclear facilities.
Actions taken at the Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station: ●23 existing, small faults that were found within the power station during its construction were already assessed to be inactive for
　about 120,000 to 130,000 years, but additional assessments were conducted to upgrade data expansion.
　As a result, the original assessments were reconfirmed to find no traces of activity in any of the faults after the deposition of the soil layer
　from 200,000 to 300,000 years ago (Koyasuda layer).
