Requirements from the New Regulatory Requirements: ●Procedures and equipment necessary for major accidents should be prepared.
Actions taken at the Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station: ●Organizational framework adopting the idea of the Incident Command System was established for flexible organizational response during an emergency.
●Procedures for power supply via power-supply vehicles and alternative water injection procedures during station blackouts were prepared to
　respond to accidents that largely exceed conventional assumptions.
●Operational procedures were prepared for equipment added from the New Regulatory Requirements.
●The number of people who can respond to emergency situations was increased both at the power station and at headquarters.
●Drills are being conducted repeatedly and improvements are continually being made to increase the effectiveness of the procedures
　and emergency response.
